SOVA has strengthened its healthcare outreach by integrating services such as Yoga, Physiotherapy, and E-Sanjeevani at Ayushman Arogya Mandir, Srimula, Dhenkanal. These initiatives are enhancing access to affordable and holistic healthcare for communities.
A new livelihood project has been launched in Mahuladagar, where community members are engaged in preparing eco-friendly cup plates for market distribution. This initiative promotes sustainable income generation and local entrepreneurship.
SOVA proudly marks two years of successfully operating its Community Radio Station. The platform continues to grow as a voice of the community, covering themes like mental health, healthcare, agriculture, education, sports, literature, devotional content, and government schemes. Upcoming plans include introducing programs on general knowledge, daily news, and interactive storytelling by community members.
SOVA has been entrusted with managing an Additional One Stop Centre (OSC) to support survivors of violence. The centre is actively serving the blocks of Kamakhyanagar, Kankadahada, Bhuban, and Parjang, ensuring timely care and support services.
In partnership with the Swiss Heidi Foundation, SOVA is running therapeutic centres for children with cerebral palsy and clubfoot in Godarbili, Pandua, Dhenkanal. Free treatment and rehabilitation services are being provided to improve the quality of life for children and their families.
